Pinback's neighbor is Matt Resovich, a member of the bands The Black Heart Procession and The Album Leaf. I speak to Matt quite often though I have never met Pinback. However I do hear stories from time to time about Matt's neighbor an he seems like an amazing bloke. It seems like the place they live is crawling with talented musicians.
Well straight to my point I suppose. I hate being THAT guy who shamelessly plugs his documentary. However it's for a good cause.
I'll try to make it short and sweet. I made a documentary on a guy named Jonathon Sharkey, a Satanic Vampire who ran for Governor of Minnesota in 2006 on the platform of impaling criminals. I know it sounds like a crazy, made up story but it's the real deal. The documentary is called "Impaler" and it won the Grand Jury Award at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival, along with a few other awards and a slew of festival invites. (It's not a horror documentary with vampire orgies and crap like that, it's kind of an absurd art film...that doesn't suck)

For me. But with good news, got my hands on a copy of Autumn of the Seraphs and I've got to say im pretty in love. So far the best tracks off of the album for me are 1,2,8,9. Of course ill be buying the album when its released ;) However im a addict and I can't wait. Id love to know what your favorites are - for you of those who've got the album. |
